Vice Principal

Dr. Arati Anand Amin

As the Vice-Principal of this esteemed institution I consider it my privilege to pen down my message for our college.

Education goes beyond shaping us as individuals and enhancing our perspectives. It helps us become better citizens and build a better society.
As our legendry Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam said “All of us do not have equal talent. But, all of us have an equal opportunity to develop our talents. And when our signature changes to autograph, this marks the Success.”
P K Das Institute of Medical Sciences aims to educate leaders of Medical profession in patient centered, science driven, team based, high value health care system. It is an institution par excellence in education and development of next generation of Doctors.

We, at P K Das Institute of Medical Sciences, are known to generate opportunities where our students can showcase their inner hidden talents, be it academic, cultural or literary.
We stand true to our motto ‘Molding True Citizens’

There have been noteworthy improvements in infrastructure in the colleges and hospital in the past year.

The competency-based curriculum has been implemented from 2019 batch and a well equipped Skill Lab is established. Another significant achievement is starting of Hematology division and Rheumatology Clinic, Diabetic clinic, Palliative medicine and Geriatric clinic is being planned to cater the long felt need for healthcare delivery in these areas

Our college is a place of learning, with a vast and aesthetic campus, enormous library and friendly and professional faculty providing an impressive platform for the overall growth and development of students.

I take this opportunity to congratulate the students and faculty who have won awards and recognition abiding by our core vision of contributing to ethical and intellectual leadership.

Right now, our healthcare workers are the frontline warriors battling the novel corona virus disease (COVID-19) that’s spreading rapidly throughout our city, state and nation. Our doctors, nurses, technicians, pharmacists and everyone who supports patient care are rising to the occasion and caring for our most vulnerable populations. Thank you for the sacrifices you make, every day and especially during this pandemic.

Your dedication, commitment and courage deserve our deepest gratitude and admiration. Your service to patients is saving countless lives and making thousands of differences.

I appreciate the academicians for their best effort in providing e-learning and online education to students in the pandemic time.
