Emergency services and rescue services are organizations which ensure public safety and health by addressing different emergencies. Some of these agencies exist solely for addressing certain types of emergencies whilst others deal with ad hoc emergencies as part of their normal responsibilities. Many of these agencies engage in community awareness and prevention programs to help the public avoid, detect, and report emergencies effectively.

Round the clock services of dedicated team of Casualty Medical Officers, Doctors from major specialties, Nurses, Paramedics and Hospital Attendants etc. to provide urgent medical care.
- Separate 4 bedded.
- Genecology / Obstetrics area available within the Casualty.
- 24 x 7 well equipped Central Laboratory and Blood Bank attached to Casualty.
- well equipped Major septic OT is attached to Casualty.
OBJECTIVES
To provide, teach and advance Patient and Family centered Emergency Care.
Knowledge
- Comprehend the normal disposition, clinically relevant interrelationships, and functional and cross sectional anatomy of the various structures in the body.
- Identify the microscopic structure and correlate elementary ultra-structure of various organs and tissues and correlate the structure with the functions as a prerequisite for understanding the altered state in various disease processes.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the basic principles and sequential development of the organs and systems; recognize the critical stages of development and the effects of commonteratogens, genetic mutations and environmental hazards. He /She shall able to explain the developmental basis of the major variations and abnormalities.
Skills
At the end of the course the student shall be able to:
- Identify and locate all the structures of the body and mark the topography of the living anatomy.

GOAL
To provide timely, efficient and guideline based acute care to patients with emergencies of all specialties including Medical, Surgical, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Trauma and all other Super and sub specialty.
Integration
- By integrated teaching with other Preclinical,Paraclinical and clinicalsubjects students shall be able to comprehend the regulation and integration of the functions of the organs and systems in the body and thus interpret the anatomical basis of disease process.

- Sensitize teachers about new concepts in teaching and assessment methods.
- Develop knowledge and clinical skills required for performing the role of competent and effective teacher, administrator, researcher and mentor.

Out Patient Department
The Casualty department receives patients all day through. Casualty doctors are always available and are assisted by qualified and professional nursing staff. The patients are attended soon after they are received in the department and taken care of with utmost compassion so to feel a homely surrounding.
In Patient Services
The Casualty department is well organized, equipped with sufficient and necessary instruments like ECG , Nebulizer and Oxygen Supplies etc. Well equipped Ambulance services are readily available.
