Tuberculosis (TB) is a potentially serious infectious disease that mainly affects the lungs. The bacteria that cause tuberculosis are spread from person to person through tiny droplets released into the air via coughs and sneezes.
The Department of TB and Respiratory Diseases is actively involved in teaching, training and research in the field of TB & Respiratory Diseases. Department adopts national guidelines in its services and research for management of tuberculosis, MDR-TB and pediatric tuberculosis.
GOAL
Respiratory Medicine is an internationally-renowned journal devoted to the rapid publication of clinically-relevant respiratory medicine research. It combines cutting-edge original research with state-of-the-art reviews dealing with all aspects of respiratory diseases and therapeutic interventions.

At the end of the course the student shall be able to:
