Department of Pediatrics
The Department of Pediatrics provides a state of healthcare services to children from newborn to 18 years of age. We have a highly skilled paediatric team, committed to offering preventive health measures and continuously cultivating optimal child development. Our committed pediatric team is killed in communicating with pediatric patients and guardians to ensure trusting support, quality care, and comprehension of health. Our department is experienced in both outpatient and inpatient services and also intensive Care of patients as well as teaching responsibility of medical students We are committed to teaching and training undergraduate (MBBS) students in the pediatrics specialty as a part of their curriculum. We are occupied adequately to conduct the results and provide updated knowledge to faculty and students with our updated library books and journals. Our dedicated pediatric team contributes to the department’s success through hard work attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
GOAL
The broad goal of teaching of undergraduate students in Anatomy aims at providing a comprehensive knowledge of the gross and microscopic structure and development of human body, which will serve as a basis for understanding the clinical correlation of organs or structures involved and the anatomical basis for the disease presentations.

Knowledge
- Comprehend the normal disposition, clinically relevant interrelationships, and functional and cross sectional anatomy of the various structures in the body.
- Identify the microscopic structure and correlate elementary ultra-structure of various organs and tissues and correlate the structure with the functions as a prerequisite for understanding the altered state in various disease processes.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the basic principles and sequential development of the organs and systems; recognize the critical stages of development and the effects of commonteratogens, genetic mutations and environmental hazards. He /She shall able to explain the developmental basis of the major variations and abnormalities.
