Round the clock services of dedicated team of Emergency Medicine physicians , Residents, Resident Medical officers, Doctors from major specialties, Nurses, Paramedics and Hospital Attendants etc. to provide urgent medical care.

OBJECTIVES
To provide, teach and advance Patient and Family centered Emergency Care.
Knowledge
- Comprehend the normal disposition, clinically relevant interrelationships, and functional and cross sectional anatomy of the various structures in the body.
- Identify the microscopic structure and correlate elementary ultra-structure of various organs and tissues and correlate the structure with the functions as a prerequisite for understanding the altered state in various disease processes.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the basic principles and sequential development of the organs and systems; recognize the critical stages of development and the effects of commonteratogens, genetic mutations and environmental hazards. He /She shall able to explain the developmental basis of the major variations and abnormalities.

- 35-Bed Emergency Department: Well-equipped with dedicated areas for resuscitation, observation, and acute care management.
- Triage Area: A structured triage system ensures rapid assessment and categorization of patients based on severity.
- Comprehensive Toxicology Resuscitation Bay: A specialized unit designed for the management of poisoning and toxicological emergencies.
- Emergency Department ICU (EDICU) – 5 Beds: A dedicated critical care unit for severely ill and unstable patients requiring intensive monitoring and intervention.
- Procedure Rooms: Dedicated spaces for advanced emergency procedures, minor surgeries, and interventional techniques.
Scope of Services
- Stroke Care, Including Mechanical Thrombectomy: A fully equipped stroke unit capable of thrombolysis and endovascular interventions.
- Polytrauma Services (24×7): Multidisciplinary trauma care with immediate access to emergency surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, and critical care.
- Acute Cardiac Care: Rapid diagnosis and management of acute coronary syndromes, including thrombolysis and PCI referral.
- Pediatric and Neonatal Emergency Care: Specialized care for critically ill infants and children.
- Poisoning and Toxicology Services: Advanced toxicology care with a dedicated resuscitation bay for poison and envenomation cases.
- Sepsis and Shock Management: Early goal-directed therapy and aggressive resuscitation protocols.
- Airway and Ventilation Management: 24×7 availability of expert airway management and mechanical ventilation support.
- Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) in Emergency Medicine: Integrated ultrasound-based diagnostic and procedural guidance.
- Disaster and Mass Casualty Response: Preparedness for handling large-scale emergencies and mass casualties.

The Facilities
Out Patient Department
The Casualty department receives patients all day through. Casualty doctors are always available and are assisted by qualified and professional nursing staff. The patients are attended soon after they are received in the department and taken care of with utmost compassion so to feel a homely surrounding.
In Patient Services
The Casualty department is well organized, equipped with sufficient and necessary instruments like ECG , Nebulizer and Oxygen Supplies etc. Well equipped Ambulance services are readily available.
